Shelby has over a decade of experience producing events in the demanding New York City non-profit scene. While molding her career at the Metropolitan Opera, she rose in the ranks to captivate the eye of New York City Ballet.

In 2012, she left the Opera to pursue an Associate Director position across the plaza and currently serves as Deputy Director of Special Events at the world renown dance company. Since her arrival, the organization has continually exceeded its fundraising goals, elevated both the look and feel of its events as well as achieved record attendance and retention rates.
